The Chorus of Kent County formed in January 2016 and has a deep and rich history
February 1981 - An adult education program was formed at West Warwick High School by Domenic DiOrio and Henry Doiron.
February 1982 - A Board of Directors was created and formal paperwork was submitted to form a non-profit corporation known as The Pawtuxet Valley Community Chorus
Musical Directors for The Pawtuxet Valley Community Chorus have been Karen Fields, Brad DeGraide, Jean Coy-Grady, Brian Hopkins and Nicholas Laroche, followed by Nicholas Laroche for The Chorus of Kent County
We have had the pleasure of performing at some very special places through the years. The Rhode Island State House, The Rhode Island Convention Center, New York City Festival of States, CBS This Morning, The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and The Arctic Playhouse presentation of A Christmas Carol The Musical

The Chorus of Kent County is a 501 (c)(3) corporation working to enhance the musical and educational life within the Kent County Community. Our main goal is to provide scholarships to high school seniors seeking to pursue an education in the musical arts
