The Chorus of Kent County Choral Performance, Choral Music,

February 1981 - An adult education program was formed at West Warwick High School by Domenic DiOrio and Henry Doiron.  This program evolved into the creation of The Pawtuxet Valley Community Chorus

Musical Directors for The Pawtuxet Valley Community Chorus have been Karen Fields, Brad DeGraide, Jean Coy-Grady, Brian Hopkins and Nicholas Laroche, followed by Nicholas Laroche for The Chorus of Kent County

SPECIAL PERFORMANCES

We have had the pleasure of performing at some very special places through the years.  The Rhode Island State House, The Rhode Island Convention Center, New York City Festival of States, CBS This Morning, The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and The Arctic Playhouse presentation of A Christmas Carol The Musical

JANUARY 2016 - THE Chorus of Kent County is formed.   Musical Director Nicholas Laroche  along with  Board of Directors Julie Roch-Winward, Gloria Perry, Diane Gadoury and Mary Jane Langlais envisioned a bright future for the group.  We were growing, evolving and heading in a new direction musically

The Chorus of Kent County is a 501 (c)(3) corporation working to enhance the musical and educational life within the Kent County Community.  Our main goal is to provide scholarships to high school seniors seeking to pursue an education in the musical arts
